ASTHMA & COPD
As someone who suffered from asthma as a child, I have first-hand understanding of the psycho-physiological effects, challenges, and far-reaching effects of this dis-ease. Through trial-and-error alongside decades of yoga and breath-work I figured out how to diminish my symptoms, and later, how to eradicate asthma from my life.
I now help others to do the same.
There are many who feel that "asthma" is being over-diagnosed. Many people believing or being told they have "asthma" actually have a very specific type of musclular tension focussed in their upper rectus abdominis and pectoral muscles, causing an extreme lack of thoracic diaphragm tonicity, leading to curtailed lung function, thereby increasing phlegm production.
I work to reverse this learned muscle tension to alleviate the symptoms of Asthma and COPD.
The Wilson Method for Asthma involves physical therapy, myo-fascial release, restorative yoga, breathwork, massage, and body-rolling.
Appointments are 9-5, Monday to Friday.
